Outdoor Adventures

Students rappelling and spelunking

First-year students on the Outdoor Adventure Pre-Fall Program will explore the natural world, reflect on their upcoming college experience, and learn the intricacies of one of five adventure activities on this exciting, overnight camping trip. Students are placed in small groups with student trip leaders, paddling, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and climbing during the day and camping at night. The student instructor teams will also address questions and lead discussions on issues often in the minds of first-year students. This experience is designed to allow incoming students to have fun, make lasting friendships, and ease the transition to college life.
