New Student Convocation

The Class of 2028 will be introduced and inducted into the Loyola University Maryland community. During this ceremony, students will pledge the Honor Code. Families, we invite you to celebrate with your student via our live stream.

You’ve done college before but are entering a new collegiate environment, we will talk about what that transition looks like and how to navigate it

Success Workshop: Loyola's Ins & Outs

We will learn about all the Loyola specific things you will need to know in order to function as a greyhound. You will also learn all about how to get involved on campus. Interested in different ways to get involved on campus? Come to this informational session where you can learn about the endless possibilities to get involved and feel connected to the Loyola community.

Information Session Rotations:

Know More and Step Up! Building a Community of Consent and Support
This session is part of a continuing conversation about building a community free of sexual misconduct. We will address definitions of consent and sexual misconduct, including processes for reporting and addressing incidents and resources. You will also learn how you can play a role in building a strong community by intervening in situations where there is potential for harm.

Community and Safety at Loyola
The experience of being a student at Loyola extends beyond residence halls and classrooms into the City of Baltimore. Learn more about being a member of this shared community, the expectations placed on students, interactions with the local area, and more.

Joining Loyola's Academic Community
Joining Loyola’s academic community is a privilege complete with wonderful opportunities for growing as a scholar. What is an Evergreen?

The Evergreens are a group of student mentors who volunteer their time to assist new students in their transition to college. Evergreens represent a diverse group of students from various backgrounds, class years, and majors.
