Accelerated Program for Current Loyola Undergraduates
All current Loyola University Maryland students and students studying at one of our partner institutions are welcome to apply to the graduate program via an Accelerated Track beginning second semester junior year. The Accelerated Bachelor's to Master of Arts in Emerging Media program streamlines the admission process provided that certain GPA requirements are met.
An accepted undergraduate student would then be permitted to take one online graduate course (ME 601 - Exploring Digital Culture) in the final semester of the senior year. The course can simultaneously count as an undergraduate elective and a graduate requirement for the Master of Arts in Emerging Media program, with approval of an academic advisor. Students may then continue with the graduate program—either full or part-time—following undergraduate graduation.
Current seniors may apply via Fast Track during their final year, for early consideration into the graduate program. If accepted, students may begin the program beginning the summer following graduation.
Benefits of the Accelerated Program

- 15% tuition Double Greyhound Alumni Discount (starting June 1, 2021)
