Business Minor
At Loyola, our approach to studying business is guided by a Jesuit business education philosophy that is unique in the business education landscape. With a minor in general business, you’ll gain exposure to business concepts that, along with a major in arts and sciences, will support your career development and prepare you to be an ethical and effective leader.
Over the course of this 18-credit business minor you will gain foundational knowledge of financial accounting, and microeconomics, as well as insight into business topics including ranging from management and marketing to data analytics and information systems.
The general business minor may also be of interest to students who later declare a major in business or wish to pursue the Loyola MBA through our full-time Emerging Leaders MBA program or the part-time Professional's MBA. This minor is not available to students majoring in business or accounting.
