Veteran-Related Student Groups
Loyola University Maryland has a number of opportunities for veterans, active-military, and dependents to get involved. From community service events and campus presentations to social gatherings, you’ll always find a way to stay engaged while at Loyola. In addition to military-focused organizations, you are encouraged to get involved in the diverse array of student organizations on campus.
LUMVets
Loyola University Maryland Veterans (LUMVets) is a student organization founded in fall 2016 by Air Force veteran Justin Worster, ‘19. As an official chapter of Student Veterans of America (SVA), LUMVets is Loyola University Maryland’s Student Veteran Organization serving the next generation of transitioning military personnel. Its purpose is to aid in the transition from "Combat to Campus," by serving as a cohesive community, in which military and non-military people interact, bond, and discuss pertinent issues on professional and social levels.
