Training Programs, Workshops, and Webinars provided by Human Resources
Loyola University Maryland's Office of Human Resources offers a variety of professional
development opportunities, including workshops and webinars. Some key programs include
Mission Driven Leadership, Embracing Change, Inclusion Matters, and Effective Stress
Management. There are also specialized sessions for supervisors, leadership training,
and employee wellness education.
LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning is an online training system that provides video tutorials for thousands
of technology subjects. You can complete an entire course, or just the parts you need.
Once you create an account and log in, you will have access to video tutorials for
a wide range of software programs including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Photoshop,
Apple Products, and much more.
Technology Training and Support
The Employee Technology Training Center provides training for software applications
and other technological tools used by the University's faculty, administrators, staff
& affiliates including quick start guides, tips and tricks, and group training.
Loyola Safe Zone Training
Safe Zone at Loyola University Maryland fosters an affirming environment for lesbian,
gay, bisexual, trans and gender non-conforming, queer, pansexual, intersex, and asexual
(LGBTQPIA+) members of the University community and their allies. In support of the
University’s mission to promote intellectual excellence and ethical leadership in
the Jesuit tradition, Safe Zone at Loyola.
McGuire Scholars Program
Participants in McGuire Scholars will receive guidance to determine whether a Loyola
degree will help them to realize their personal goals. The program includes a series
of seminars designed to prepare adult students for the demands of college coursework.
Seminars will begin the spring semester after acceptance into the program.
TIAA Individual Retirement Plan Counseling Session
No matter where you are in life - just getting started or planning for retirement
- a session can help you create a plan for your retirement goals. Schedule a 1:1 meeting
with Loyola's retirement plan financial consultant, in-person at no cost. Sessions
will be available on the following dates and times on campus.
