Loyola Paid Leave

Loyola University Maryland provides eligible employees with various time-off options that do not require the use of accrued vacation or sick leave.  Employees are encouraged to review the Administrator and Staff Policy Manual for complete details on these leave plans, including eligibility requirements.

Additionally, employees should familiarize themselves with the Workday Absence module, as all time-off requests must be submitted through Workday and approved by their manager. Managers reserve the right to deny time-off requests if the absence would cause undue hardship on departmental operations. If employees have concerns or issues, they should first discuss them with their manager. Should the matter remain unresolved, it can be escalated to their Human Resources Business Partner by contacting humanresources@loyola.edu or calling 410-617-2354.
