U.S. News recognizes Loyola's online graduate programs
Loyola University Maryland’s online graduate programs were ranked among the 2025 Best Online Programs by U.S. News & World Report. The publication recognized Loyola among the Best Online Master’s in Business Programs (non-MBA), Best Online MBA Programs, Best Online Master’s in Information Technology Programs, and Best Online Master’s in Education Programs.
Loyola’s online graduate programs in education climbed 133 spots in the U.S. News rankings compared to last year, while the University’s online MBA program moved up 91 spots.

- No. 19 (tied) out of 205 programs for Best Online Master’s in Business (non-MBA)
- No. 29 (tied) out 355 programs for Best Online MBA
- No. 51 (tied) out of 97 programs for Best Online Master’s in Information Technology
- No. 85 (tied) out of 313 programs for Best Online Master’s in Education

The Sellinger School of Business and Management offers fully online options for the Master of Accounting and the Professional’s MBA, a part-time, self-paced MBA program. Loyola College, the University’s school of arts and sciences, offers a fully online Master of Science in Data Science and micro-credential program designed for working professionals from all academic backgrounds. Loyola’s School of Education offers online graduate programs in curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, learning design and technology, literacy education, Montessori education, and English for speakers of other languages.
To determine the rankings, U.S. News considered factors including instructor engagement with students, surveys of academic officials, faculty credentials and training, the achievements of students entering each program, and the online learning technologies and additional services offered by each program.
