Freedom School Monthly Series
The Karson Institute's Freedom School is a program developed by Dr. Kaye to promote education in the Baltimore community. This program is available one Saturday a month at the Loyola/Notre Dame Library (LNDL) to all ages with events designed for groups at any level, focusing on language and cultural education, ancestry research, and the greater development of the Baltimore community through learning.
Programs The Freedom School Offers
The Freedom School offers a variety of different events and activities. Some of these events include: Itty Bitty Book Club, where there will be a reading of the 1619 Project children's book: Born on the Water presented, Ancestry Research with Dr. Kaye, and Learning Mandarin, promoting bilingual education in Baltimore. This programing is next available on March 15, with registration available on The Bridge. We hope to see you there and are excited to have you join us for this outstanding cultural inclusion program!
