There are two components to the Ignatius Scholars Program:

Summer 2025 Residential Program

Monday, August 18, 2025 - Thursday, August 28, 2025

  • Student Arrival: Monday, August 18
  • Welcome Reception: Monday, August 18
  • ISP Classes Begin: Wednesday, August 20
  • Program Concludes: Thursday, August 28

Snapshot of a Typical Day

Scholars can expect to spend a typical day in the summer residential program getting to know fellow students and deepening the skills needed to start their college journey on a strong footing. Special enrichment and social activities have also been planned throughout the session.

12:45 p.m. Group Lunch 
1:30 p.m. Study Hall/Academic Advising Meeting
2:45 p.m. Workshop (time management, study skills, life at Loyola, etc.)
4 p.m. Study Time

Fall 2025 Semester

Tuesday, September 2 - Wednesday, December 10, 2025

The fall semester component consists of:

  • Bi-weekly group meetings with an academic coach who will provide academic support and strategies
  • Weekly individual meetings with an academic coach
  • Ten study hours per week at The Study
  • Participation in Messina, Loyola's first-year living learning program, as part of their first-year schedule
