Support Nursing at Loyola
Loyola University Maryland is excited to launch a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program to help address Maryland’s ongoing nursing workforce shortage. We are proud to enter this program in partnership with Mercy Medical Center, which will provide clinical placements at Mercy’s downtown Baltimore campus, in addition to other resources and support.
A nursing program at Loyola University Maryland is the embodiment of living out the Jesuit mission in Baltimore. As an anchor institution in the city, Loyola will educate and truly prepare front-line medical professionals for a life of cura personalis—or care for the whole person. Loyola nurses—educated in the Jesuit and Mercy traditions—will serve as a guide for patients and families on their entire healthcare journey and provide them with world-class care.
