Accounting
An entire world of possibilities and opportunities await you in accounting. The major provides challenges and unlimited opportunities if you desire a successful and rewarding position in public accounting, business, or government.
It is truly the degree with 360 degrees of freedom. Starting salaries are among the highest for all university graduates and the potential earnings over a lifetime are excellent.
In Loyola's accounting program, opportunities are available to join student accounting organizations and network with peers and others who can provide guidance. After graduation, you can broaden your career options by becoming a certified public accountant (CPA). The accounting department offers a BBA in Accounting and a graduate Master in Accounting (MAcc) program.
The program is accredited by AACSB, The International Association for Management Education. The Association is the only agency that accredits accounting programs in the United States and only 169 of the thousands of programs around the world are accredited.
Loyola University Maryland was recently ranked #1 for accounting programs in Maryland by College Factual.
