Artificial Intelligence at Work

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a hot topic in recent years.

But how will the influx of AI technology impact educators? Find out at the Artificial Intelligence at Work: Education panel on Tuesday, February 13 from 3-4 p.m. (EST) via Zoom.

“My particular interest in this topic is focused on teaching relevance as AI is becoming increasingly pervasive across so many fields and as educators, we need to understand how it works, how to leverage it, and realize that many of our students are using it,” says Kelly Keane, director of the Learning Design & Technology program.

Kelly will be a featured panelist on February 13, along with Marie Heath, Assistant Professor of Learning Design & Technology.

“I’m excited to chat with other educators and community members to think about how we can teach about the impacts of AI in education, on our lives, and on society,” Marie shared. 

The panel will cover everything from what AI tools are being used now, how they are disrupting education, ethical concerns, benefits, and how AI can be leveraged for equitable access to education.
