Loyola University Maryland’s Concurrent Pathway to the M.Ed. in Montessori Education offers a flexible and convenient route to earn both Montessori teacher training and a master’s degree in education. The program begins with high-quality Montessori teacher training at one of Loyola’s off-site partner institutes, during which you earn 15 graduate credits towards the 33-credit degree sequence. After completing your training, you continue with core coursework through 8-week asynchronous courses, allowing you to balance your studies with other commitments and learn from anywhere.

Guided by expert faculty throughout your course of study, you will graduate with the skills and drive to strengthen the Montessori professional community.
The Concurrent Pathway to the M.Ed. in Montessori Education at Loyola University Maryland offers a streamlined route to earning your graduate degree. Through this program, you complete 15 credits alongside your teacher training at one of our partner institutes. Following your training, you will participate in innovative asynchronous courses that integrate Montessori principles with contemporary educational practices, emphasizing Diverse Voices, Inclusive Practices, and Educational Change.
