Loyola University Maryland was recognized among the nation’s top institutions for undergraduates in The Princeton Review’s “Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition.” Loyola was also named among the publication’s “Best Mid-Atlantic” colleges.

Loyola has been included in every edition of the publication’s “Best Colleges” list since 1994.

“We are honored to once again be named among the top universities in the nation by The Princeton Review,” said Eric Nichols, vice president for enrollment management. “This prestigious recognition is reflected in our academically gifted and diverse student body, our vast and influential alumni network, and our expert faculty and staff, all of which demonstrate the merit of a Loyola education.”

The Princeton Review tallied the lists in the current edition of “The Best 390 Colleges” based on the data from surveys of 168,000 students at the 390 schools in the book. The publication is a tutoring, test prep, and college admissions services company.
