Loyola named among ‘Best Colleges in Maryland,’ awarded for business school

Loyola University Maryland was ranked among the “Best Colleges in Maryland in 2023” by Intelligent.com, which provides information on program rankings and higher education.

“The list features some of the best brick-and-mortar schools in Maryland. Each school featured is a nonprofit, accredited institution — either public or private — with a high standard of academic quality for post-secondary institutions,” according to Intelligent.com.

The University also received the “Best Business Program” award recognizing Loyola’s Sellinger School of Business and Management. The Sellinger School provides a wide range of fields of study including eight undergraduate majors and 11 undergraduate minors as well as full-time, part-time, and fully online MBA and Master of Accounting programs.

To develop the “Best Colleges in Maryland” list, Intelligent.com aggregated rankings from reputable publications and then evaluated each of the top schools based on academic quality, graduation rate, cost, return on investment, and student resources.

In 2021, Intelligent.com ranked Loyola’s data science program among the “Top 50 Master’s in Data Science Degree Programs” and awarded the University with “Best Micro-Credential Program.
