Loyola’s MBA program to offer select courses in downtown Baltimore
Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business will offer two courses in its Professional’s MBA program at the Center Club in the Transamerica Building in downtown Baltimore.
The classes will be offered on Mondays from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. in conference rooms at the Center Club, located at 100 Light Street. Complimentary parking will be available for students in the garage below the building.
“So many professionals live and work in the heart of Baltimore, and Loyola wants to meet them where they are,” said Kathleen A. Getz, Ph.D., dean of the Sellinger School. “We are delighted to bring two of our business courses into the heart of Baltimore for people who want to pursue an MBA at their own pace.”
The Professional’s MBA (PMBA)—a part-time, self-paced program designed for working professionals from all academic and industry backgrounds—will offer a new, faster curriculum beginning in the summer of 2019. Courses will start at the Center Club in the fall of 2019.
“The Center Club is happy to collaborate with Loyola University Maryland in advancing the careers of Baltimore’s business and community leaders,” said Kevin Bonner, the Center Club’s general manager.
The new courses being offered at the Center Club will allow students to take advantage of the increased flexibility of a hybrid format, which offers courses in person one night each week with the remaining work conducted online.
The PMBA allows students to customize their coursework through one of eight specializations. The newly redesigned curriculum also creates a more streamlined program, allowing for faster time to completion and return on investment.
