Loyola invites furloughed workers and families to Mass and brunch

Loyola University Maryland invites furloughed government workers and their families to enjoy Mass and a free brunch on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019.

Brunch will be held from noon to 2 p.m. in McGuire Hall in the Andrew White Student Center.

For those who wish to attend Mass prior to brunch, Mass will be held in Alumni Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Rev. Brian F. Linnane, S.J. will celebrate.

“The federal shutdown is having a significant impact on families, including many in our area," said Fr. Linnane, president. "Our campus community is hoping that those who are affected in our area will accept this small gesture of support and companionship and join us for a meal.”
