Second Year Psychology Graduate Student Awarded STAY Fellowship
Kamala Mallik-Kane, a second-year student in the Masters of Clinical Psychology Program – Practitioner Track, has been awarded the Services for Transition Age Youth (STAY) fellowship through American Psychology Association's Minority Fellowship Program.
The STAY fellowship is funded by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to “support terminal master’s level training in psychology that seeks to promote culturally competent mental health services for ethnic minority transition age youth and their families and increase the number of ethnic minority service providers in psychology who are providing mental health services for this population.” This award also includes a stipend, as well special training opportunities.
