H. Jay Dunmore Awarded by Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers

Congratulations to Mr. H. Jay Dunmore who has been honored for his contributions as member and manager of the Washington DC section of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) with the Citation for Outstanding Service to the Society Award. The award recognizes individuals for dedicated service for the betterment of the society over a sustained period. 

In addition to his work as member and manager of the D.C. chapter, Jay Dunmore has been the student chapter advisor of the Loyola University Maryland chapter since its founding in 2012. During that time, Dunmore has worked to promote learning between the student chapter and the section through hosting an annual meeting, seminars, and by exposing future professionals to the creative, business, and technical realms of television production. Dunmore will receive his award in Los Angeles at the SMPTE Conference this October.

H. Jay Dunmore teaches video production in the communication department and serves as the GreyComm Television Studio Manager at Loyola.
