Club Sports Athletic Trainer
The department of recreation and wellness is proud to announce a partnership with
Towson Sports Medicine. Towson Sports Medicine athletic trainers will be providing
services to club sport student-athletes this spring.
Towson Sports Medicine has a long history of providing athletic training and sports medicine services to athletes in the Baltimore area. Towson Sports Medicine works with a number of public and private high schools in the area, as well as semi-professional and professional level organizations like FB Baltimore of the NPSL and the Baltimore Redbirds of the CRCBL.
In addition to athletic training services, club sports student athletes will have access to the full complement of orthopaedic and sports medicine services provided by Towson Sports Medicine and Towson Orthopeadic Associates. Sports medicine physicians will be available to see injured student athletes Monday through Friday at Towson Orthopaedic Associates Bellona Avenue office. Student-athletes will also have access to an after-hours injury clinic at the Bellona location on Monday through Thursday from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Athletic Trainer: Eleanor Hudson
Eleanor Hudson, M.S., LAT, ATC joins TSM as the athletic trainer for Loyola University
Club Sports. Eleanor grew up in Baltimore and attended Plymouth State University,
where she earned her degree in athletic training and was a member of the women’s ice
hockey team. Eleanor received her master’s degree in exercise science from Merrimack

Eleanor will hold athletic training room clinic hours at the FAC Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. She will also be at numerous practices and home club sports events throughout the year.
