Mission
The office of research and sponsored programs (ORSP) promotes and supports the academic excellence of Loyola University Maryland by guiding members of the faculty, as well as academic and administrative departments, in the procurement and management of sponsored project funding. In so doing, it enables faculty members to explore and advance their scholarly interests and initiatives, and the University to achieve its strategic objectives.
Vision
Cultivate, nurture, and sustain an institutional culture that celebrates and supports sponsored program activity as integral to the life of the university. Provide leadership and guidance that encourages creativity and competitiveness in the pursuit of external funding that supports scholarship and programmatic priorities. Grants activity enhances the prestige of Loyola University Maryland.
The ORSP website contains important information concerning opportunities for funding, useful information for applying for grants and contracts, as well as policies and procedures that support research and grant activity at Loyola.
The staff of the ORSP is eager to help you. We encourage you to contact us often to talk about your research and grant ideas.
