Fr. Brian Frain was raised in Audubon, NJ. He graduated with an B.A. and M.S. from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia and then entered St. Andrew Hall novitiate in Syracuse, NY. After vows, Frain graduated from Fordham University, Bronx, NY with a M.A. Later, he graduated with an M. Div. and STL from Weston Jesuit School of Theology. Frain earned his Ed. D in Education at the University of Rochester.
Fr. Frain varied his apostolic work in the United States and abroad: retreat ministry, Jesuit formation work, secondary education, and higher education. Most recently, he was assistant professor of Education and Director of the Thomas More Center for Catholic Thought and Culture at Rockhurst University. Fr. Frain has recently become pastor of Saint Ignatius Church in Baltimore.
Fr. Frain enjoys Irish culture, specifically Irish dance. In his free time, he teaches Irish dance to children and adults. He also plays flute and accordion and might be found at late night Irish music "seisiuns."
