While these amounts are comprehensive, full-time students who have received their Financial Aid Award letter are invited to use Loyola's Bill Calculator to estimate their personal out-of-pocket costs before student bills become available.

Housing

A $45 Housing Damage Deposit will be returned to students upon graduation, transfer, or withdrawal from Loyola. The deposit is used to offset the student's final semester damage assessment. Damage charges are assessed throughout the year and applied to the student's account.

Meal Plan Options

All students placed in housing assignments by Residence Life & Housing are required to purchase a meal plan. Students can change plans through the end of Add/Drop at the beginning of each semester through RoomRez. Please visit Dining Services for more information.

First-Year & Sophomore Residential Students Required Meal Plan

All first-year and sophomore students living on campus are required to purchase the Evergreen Plan. First-year and sophomore students living off-campus or with family members may choose from any of the commuter meal plans listed in the next section.

All full-time undergraduate students have the option to receive student health insurance or to waive it by completing the Student Health Profile.

Music lessons are included in the price of tuition for first-year and sophomore students, as well as all students who are majoring or minoring in music. Should a junior or senior student—who is not a music major or minor—enroll in music lessons, the non-refundable Applied Music cost is payable directly to the instructor at the first lesson. If it is not paid in full, a hold is placed on grade reports, diplomas, etc.

Important Student Account and Payment Information

  • Online Payments: To make an online payment using the student's username and password, visit the "WebAdvisor" module from the Inside Loyola portal.
  • Parent Access: For those granted parent access, please use Self Service to log in to the Parent Portal.
  • Financial Holds: Students with an active financial hold on their account may not register for or add/drop classes, receive official grade reports/diplomas, or participate in graduation ceremonies.
  • Withdrawal from the University: Review the University's withdrawal refund policy.
  • Bounced Checks: If a submitted check or e-check bounces, the student account will be charged $35 to cover the bank penalty.
