Combined Physics/Engineering Programs
Loyola offers two types of combined degrees in physics and engineering, each of which can be completed in five years:
- Dual degree resulting in a BS in physics and a BSE in engineering at Loyola, and
- “3-2 Program” with Columbia University, leading to a BS in physics at Loyola and a BS in engineering from the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University.
These programs enable a student to obtain a strong liberal arts education, a foundation in physics, and technical knowledge in a subdiscipline of engineering.
