It provides technical assistance to all members of the Loyola community. All problems related to technology, including requests for the repair of Loyola-owned hardware, software, telephones, network connectivity, and cable TV must be reported to the TSC so that the problem can be tracked and a repair technician dispatched. It has many features such as multiple address books, a calendar, and spam control. return to top of page WebAdvisor provides Web-based access to your student data. It allows you to register for classes, pay your Loyola accounts using a credit card, and view your schedule, transcript, financial aid status, and other important information. Employees are able to access advising and class information, leave plan summaries, and are able to enroll for benefits such as health insurance. For more information on WebAdvisor, click here.

return to top of page HoundNet is the name of the new on-campus wireless connection offering access to the Loyola data network and Internet. For more information on HoundNet, including step-by-step connection instructions, click here. return to top of page More Software, powered by Citrix, enables users to access Windows programs over the World Wide Web. Every operating system can use More Software: Windows, Mac, Linux and UNIX users. For example, it allows a staff member, using a Macintosh, to access software that previously was only available on Windows. Likewise, a computer science student, using Linux, could do the same.
