Bio
Lynn E. Linde, Ed.D., is Coordinator of Clinical Experiences in the School Counseling program at Loyola University Maryland. She received her doctorate in counseling and Master’s in School Counseling from The George Washington University. She is a former Branch Chief for Student Services at the Maryland State Department of Education. She was the 2009-2010 President of the American Counseling Association (ACA)and is the current Treasurer-Elect of ACA and a member of the ACA Ethics Revision Task Force. She was the Southern Region representative to ACA Governing Council, Past Chair of the ACA—Southern Region, and Past President of the Maryland Association for Counseling and Development, and has chaired several committees and task forces. She is an ACA Fellow, a recipient of the Carl Perkins Award, the ACES Program Supervisor Award, the SACES Program Supervisor Award, and has received a number of other awards from ACA, its entities, and from the State of Maryland. She presents on ethical and legal issues for school counselors and is the author or coauthor of several book chapters on ethical issues. She is a True Colors certified trainer and conducts workshops for associations and schools.
