Sellinger's Attanasio Named JEBNET Chairman

BALTIMORE, MD – Ann Attanasio, director of graduate business programs at Loyola College in Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management, was elected chairman of the Jesuit Education in Business Network (JEBNET) at the organization’s Spring 2009 meeting. Attanasio was nominated for this role after serving as vice chairman of JEBNET for the past three years. Her three-year term as chairman begins immediately.

Attanasio said the network brings a national perspective to critical issues affecting graduate business education.  Connections developed through the network expand opportunities for graduates of Jesuit business schools by making them a part of a larger and more geographically diverse community of business professionals. "I am honored to be named chairman of JEBNET," said Attanasio. "The mission of this network is central to the Jesuit philosophy and furthers our ability to provide an outstanding, ethically based MBA education here at Sellinger. The cooperation and counsel among the Jesuit institutions is unparalleled.”

Formed in 1996, JEBNET comprises Jesuit and Catholic colleges across the country and is organized to facilitate the flow of information and cooperation among member schools at the graduate business level.  Membership in JEBNET includes access to a global exchange program and a Beijing International MBA program.
