Loyola offers undergraduate (BBA) and graduate (MBA) degrees in business with a concentration in Information Systems. At the undergraduate level, students enroll as business administration majors and select the Information Systems concentration within the first two years. Students complete six (6) Information Systems courses beyond the business core. Many students also include an elective internship course to provide practical work experience or another Information Systems elective. Course sequencing is designed to fit into study abroad programs around the world in either the fall or spring semester. A minor is offered to accounting majors and students who have majors outside the business school. At the graduate level, students can specialize in Information Systems by completing four elective courses beyond the business core. Courses include current topics such as knowledge management, global information technology, and virtualization as well as skill development in areas such as database and electronic commerce.
