Participants, while earning 3 credits for a Loyola College Degree, will develop a better understanding of the global business environment: its dimensions, trends, and opportunities. Chilean site visits will include the world’s largest underground copper mine. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the heritage, ambiance, and excitement of two of the world's most beautiful, interesting, and globally important cites plus two “urban escape” communities during the summer season. Students registering for the Study Tour will be required to attend five pre-trip classes, complete a business journal of observations or lessons learned, submit a paper on a selected international topic, and attend all site visits. Classes meet November 4, 11, 18, and December 2, 9. Dr. Michael Unger, Executive in Residence, Professor of Management and International Business, leads the International Study Tour. Tour costs include hotel accommodations, all airfare, overland transportation, transfers and sightseeing tours. For further information contact Dr. Unger at munger@loyola.edu or Ms. Mary Ciamarra at mciamarra@loyola.edu
