Throughout the year, Washington Montessori Institute offers a variety of professional development opportunities. There are conferences, workshops and lectures designed to enrich the practice of Montessori teachers and assistants. See News/Events for current offerings.

Annually, WMI offers an AMI Primary Assistant's Course of training. This is a two-week course of study that meets all day. Students who attend all classes, complete written asignments and complete eight hours of observation will be awarded an AMI Assistant Certificate.
