School of Education

In fall 2009, Loyola will celebrate the dedication of its new School of Education, which will focus on addressing in particular the needs associated with urban schooling. Information about the dedication will be available closer to the fall.

The School's founding dean, Peter C. Murrell, Jr., Ph.D., joined Loyola in summer 2008. In addition to enhancing Loyola's current academic offerings, he has established several centers aimed at building collaboration with members of the local community and addressing the many challenges surrounding urban education.

Loyola offers both graduate and undergraduate programs in education. To find out more about the programs, visit the Academic Programs page.
