Paul Tallon named executive director of Lattanze Center

Loyola College in Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management has announced that Paul Tallon, Ph.D., currently an associate professor of information systems and operations management (ISOM), will become executive director of the Lattanze Center, the Sellinger School’s center for executive studies in information technology, with the start of the fall semester. Tallon will succeed Ellen Hoadley, Ph.D., who will continue her role as academic director of Loyola’s Executive MBA programs and as a faculty member in the information systems and operations management department.

A nationally recognized center of excellence for management collaboration, the Lattanze Center aims to serve business professionals on issues related to business excellence and information technology.

“Paul brings tremendous energy and expertise to this position, which focuses on engaging the ISOM advisory board and the greater business community in shaping the vision for the future of this valuable center,” said Karyl Leggio, Ph.D., dean of the Sellinger School of Business and Management. “Paul’s leadership will build upon the Lattanze Center’s excellent reputation and the outstanding ongoing outreach efforts of the ISOM department.”

Prior to joining the Sellinger School in 2008, Tallon was an assistant professor of information systems at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He also has professional experience as a chartered accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and as an IT consultant for the United Nations World Trade Organization.
