Loyola Graduate Becomes First Woman, African-American to Head Maryland Air National Guard

Allyson R. Solomon, a 1987 Loyola graduate, became the first woman and African-American to lead the Maryland Air National Guard on June 1. She will be promoted from colonel to brigadier general during a ceremony today in Baltimore. For more information, read today's Sun article.
