If a student has credit for ST210/ST265, s/he takes the regular sequence of MA courses.  Not having to take ST210 in freshman year frees up a slot for the student to take other core/elective courses (for example, CS202).

*ST210 can be taken in any semester.  If a student is interested in statistics, taking ST210 earlier may allow the student to get into upper level ST courses sooner.
    **CS202 is strongly recommended.
