Transfer Orientation September 2008 Congratulations on being accepted as a transfer student to Loyola College! We are well aware that you have already transitioned to college life at your former institution, so this orientation is mainly to ease your transition to Loyola College. The orientation is set up so that you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with other transfer students, administrators, and faculty. On Monday, September 1st, representatives from various campus offices will join us to speak on behalf of their programs. They will not only offer you some insight into Loyola, but also a chance to find ways to get involved on campus. While the details are still being pulled together, we can tell you that the day will begin around 12:30 p.m. with lunch and continue until about 3:30 p.m with sessions. The location for the orientation is Cohn 33. In addition, there will be an optional campus tour that begins at 3:30 p.m. You are welcome to join for part or all of the day. If you are curious as to what will be taking place, click to see a sample schedule for the day. There is no additional cost or paperwork needed to register for the transfer student orientation. However, in order to have enough food available for lunch, we need an accurate headcount, so please RSVP to New Student Programs by Monday, August 25th. You are welcome to park in the Jenkins Lot for free. To see a map of available parking on campus, click here. There will be full shuttle service from any of the "satellite" lots as well.
