Adobe Premiere Elements 8 is an intermediate level video editing software available on PC's 1-8 in the Digital Lab. It allows for editing and combination of unlimited video and audio tracks. Finished video projects can be saved to a DVD with menus or a variety of file formats including .mov, .wmv, .avi, and .flv.
AVS Video Converter
AVS Video Converter is video conversion software found on PCs 2, 3, and 4 in the Digital Lab. It can be used to convert DVDs to computer file formats such as .mov, .wmv, .mpeg, and .avi or between these various formats. It can also create DVDs from computer files.
Final Cut Express HD
Final Cut Express HD is the most advanced video editing software in the Digital Lab. It can be found on all the Macs. It allows for the editing and combination of up to 99 video and 99 audio tracks. It is integrated with Apple's Soundtrack and LiveType for creating soundtracks and titles in addition to the sound and title editing that can be done within the software itself.
iMovie is the basic video editing software for Macs. iMovie '11 can be found on all of the Macs in the Digital Lab. Finished projects can be exported as Quicktime (.mov) files or imported into iDVD to be burned to a DVD with menus.
Windows Movie Maker
Windows Movie Maker is the most basic video editing software in the Digital Lab. It can be found all the PCs. It allows for very simple editing functions. Finished projects can only be saved as .wmv files.
