Rock climbing is a sport that challenges both the body and mind. The climbing wall offers climbing routes from beginner to advanced skill levels as well as a bouldering cave for unroped climbing.
New to climbing? Tired of standing in line for a belay? Attend a belay class to learn about Loyola's wall, the sport of climbing, and to become belay certified. Classes are offered throughout the semester. Look for the interest list on the climbing wall's desk or contact the Outdoor Adventure Center.
Loyola's annual climbing competition returns on November 24, 2013. All profits will benefit a local, Baltimore non-profit. Early registration is welcome by contacting the Outdoor Adventure Center and day-of registration begins at 11:00 AM at the Fitness and Aquatic Center on November 24.
