Outdoor Adventure Experience (OAE) - From weekend trips to teambuilding, a sea kayaking expedition just for sophomores to adventure trips just for incoming first-year students, OAE can get you outdoors and having fun. Interested in becoming one of our volunteer trip leaders? We hire 7 to 9 first years and sophomores each fall. Complete an application and submit it by the stated deadline to be considered.
Outdoor Adventure Pre-Orientation- A week-long adventure for incoming First-Year students, designed to ease the transition to college. It is offered every August just prior to the start of Orientation.
Climbing wall - The climbing wall is located on the first floor of the Fitness and Aquatics Center and is for all levels of climbers, from beginners to advanced. Our climbing wall attendants can help you learn the ropes! We also host an annual climbing competition, The Ascent, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
Outdoor Adventure Center - Also known as Basecamp, this is the place for anyone who wants to sign up for a trip, read a book from our library, or rent basic camping equipment. Located on the second floor of the FAC by the raquetball courts, Basecamp employees are here to help you with anything related to the outdoors.
Summer Trips for Faculty, Administrators, and Staff - Every summer, we offer trips designed for the faculty, administrators, and staff.
