Periodically crime prevention programs are conducted by campus police as well as local police on such topics as personal safety and sexual assault prevention.
Presentations by such organizations as the American Red Cross, presenting the crime avoidance program sponsored by public safety.
Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) training conducted by trained and certified instructors of public safety.
Bicycle registration is promoted by the crime prevention unit for anyone using a bicycle on campus.
Incident alerts and crime prevention bulletins are widely distributed on campus by timely postings and email messages. They inform the Loyola community of situations that present a potential hazard on campus or in the surrounding community.
University incident statistics are posted on a regular basis to inform the Loyola community of all incidents reported on campus and to the Baltimore city police for the surrounding area.
A daily log of incidents occurring on the University campus is available in the communications center for review 24-hours a day.
