We welcome students and all members of the University community who sincerely desire to give, receive, learn and further develop their spiritual/faith through service.

As part of a Catholic, Jesuit institution, we believe that service, faith and justice are inextricably connected. Similarly, the foundation and existence of the Center is built upon that belief. At Loyola, in CCSJ we expect to work with volunteers whose motivation to engage in service stems from his/her faith and/or spirituality. Opportunities for spiritual reflections and prayer are always available and part of the structure of most of our programs. Additionally, CCSJ full-time staff are always ready and happy to engage in one-on-one conversation with volunteers about the interplay of relationship between service and spirituality.
