Education Classes


Clients MUST REGISTER in advance for ALL programs. 

  • Clients may register by phone (x2928, 410-617-2928) or by visiting the ADESS office. 
  • Classes tend to reach capacity, so it is important to register well before the sanction deadline.

Clients who have class during the regularly scheduled Level I session must register in person at the ADESS office for an alternate session by completing a schedule availability form.

Level I (Single Education Session)

2009 Fall Semester Class Schedule

Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30pm
Last Thursday of Classes each Month: September 24, October 29, November 19, December 3 (9:00am-10:30am)

Students who have class during the regularly scheduled Level I session, must register for an alternate Level I session by submitting their academic schedule to the ADESS Office. 

Level II (Two Session Education Series) : Two Group Sessions

  • 2009 Fall Semester Class Schedule: Wednesdays (2:00-3:00pm): 

September 16 & 23
October 21 & 28
November 18 & December 2

This series consists of two Wed. classes, each 1 hour long. Students who have class during the regularly scheduled Level II session, must register for an alternate Level II session by submitting their academic schedule to the ADESS office.                                                                

Clients must call the Office of Alcohol & Drug Education and Support Services at x2928 to register for Level II (Two Session Education Series). 

The Choices Program(Six Session Education Series) 

  • The Choices program includes information about alcohol and other drugs, risk reduction strategies, skills and strategies for preventing future problems with alcohol and other drugs, and discussion of consequences of alcohol and other drug use. The Choices Program is comprised of one individual evaluation, followed by five-one hour group sessions.Students can be referred from other offices on campus, student life, counseling center, etc. Students can also be referred following an evaluation in the ADESS office, or students can volunteer to participate in the group.

Clients must call the Office of Alcohol & Drug Education and Support Services at x2928 to register for the Choices Program (Six Session Education Series).  Groups will be scheduled on the basis of clients' schedules.
