• Music at Loyola presents: Duo Live Oak (Nancy Knowles, soprano and Frank Wallace, guitar) will perform in the Alumni Chapel on Friday, March 12 at 7:30 p. m.
• Voice MasterClass Series: Carolyn Black-Sotir (soprano) and R. Timothy McReynolds (piano) Saturday, March 13, 1-4 p. m. in McManus Theater.
• The Way the Lotus Grows, an exhibition of photographs from Asia by Ashley Twaddell '11, will be on display in the Black Box Theater from 3/10-3/21. The opening reception will be on Friday, March 12 from 6-8 p.m.
• Strange Interlude, works by Cindy Cheng and Chloe Watson, will be on display in the Julio Fine Arts Gallery in the College Center from Feb. 22-March. 28.
• Dr. Nygren's article on the fifteenth-century painter Fra Angelico appeared in the December issue of the Secac Review.
• Dr. Nygren's review of "Prayers in Code," an exhibition of Books of Hours from the Walters Museum, appeared in the Autumn 2009 issue of SHARPNews, the newsletter of the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading & Publishing.
