Johns Hopkins University - Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Center for Hearing Sciences, Neural Encoding Lab.  Research in neural encoding and signal processing in the auditory system (periphery and brainstem). Training in techniques in electrophysiologal recordings and basic histology.

Columbia University - Departments of Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics and Otolaryngology, College of Physicians and Surgeons. Analyzed motions of cellular structures in the inner ear (Organ of Corti), nonlinear models of hair cell motion, statistics of neural firing patterns, and signal processing models.

Columbia University - Departments of Metallurgy and Materials Science, Applied Physics. Research Assistant.  Dielectric relaxation and conductivity measurements on Amethyst and Citrine quartz to study point defect properties.

Perkin-Elmer Corporation - Contamination Control Engineer NASA Hubble Space Telescope Project. Cleanroom characterization, cleanroom garment operations, improved cleanroom materials and operational procedures.
