The sociology club serves as an outlet where sociology majors and minors can strive to learn about our various interests in society. We appreciate all the many cultures and ideas that exist within and around us and anxiously are in pursuit of educating ourselves and others about that diversity. We hope that through the club’s activities, events, and discussions, we are able to use thoughts that stem from our studies in sociology as a window to the world.
The sociology club sponsors an annual career night, including dinner and speakers, to expose majors and minors to the range of work undertaken by alumni who majored in sociology. Other activities undertaken by members vary from year to year.
Co-Presidents for 2010-2011 are Matthew Cook and Amanda Affigne.
