The Center for Montessori Education at Loyola University Maryland offers graduate programs in Montessori Education. These programs are offered in three specializations:
- Infant (birth – age 3)
- Primary (ages 3 – 6)
- Elementary (ages 6 – 12)
Programs may be taken in collaboration with one of Loyola’s AMI affiliate institutes. Depending upon the choice of affiliate institute, programs are offered in one of two formats:
- Academic Year Format: students take the AMI course work over two consecutive semesters (Fall and Spring) at the affiliate institute and then complete additional graduate course work in residence at Loyola.
- Multi-Summer Format: students complete the AMI course work over two or three consecutive summers at the affiliate institute and then complete additional graduate course work in residence at Loyola.
