Started in 1927, The Greyhound serves as the Loyola University Maryland student newspaper and campus news Web site. Approximately 3,000 copies of the newspaper are distributed each Tuesday of the academic year at the Evergreen, Timonium, and Columbia campuses. The Greyhound is written, edited, and staffed by a team of Loyola undergraduate students with the help and guidance of communication department faculty. The Greyhound primarily covers campus and local news with sections in each issued dedicated to sports, arts and society, and opinion/editorial views of the student editors.
