The Loyola University Maryland community will offer prayers for those affected by Hurricane Sandy during the University’s All Souls Mass on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Alumni Memorial Chapel.
“With so many of Loyola’s students, parents, alumni, and friends from regions hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy, the suffering of all the storm victims is palpable within our community,” said Rev. Brian F. Linnane, S.J., president of Loyola. “As we come together for All Souls Mass, we will be united in thought and prayer for all the members of the Loyola family who have been impacted by this storm. I invite you to join me in a moment of silence and prayer for all the victims, those working to recover from the storm, and all those who are selflessly offering their support in this incredibly difficult time.”
Students seeking support or counseling in the wake of personal or property loss at home are encouraged to utilize the already available on-campus resources listed on Loyola’s Hurricane Sandy information page.
