The Loyola Clinical Centers, Loyola University Maryland’s interdisciplinary graduate training clinic, has launched a new website designed to better showcase its training and clinical care programs in speech-language pathology/audiology, education, psychology, and pastoral counseling. The new site features a wealth of information on the Clinical Centers’ mission, services, facilities, and approach to student education and client care. In addition, visitors will find updates on Centers’ news and events, and a series of testimonials from clients and their parents.
The site launch coincides with the beginning of an exciting new period for the Clinical Centers, which has experienced extraordinary growth and expansion of programs and services since its launch in September 2003. Today, the Clinical Centers operates in state-of-the-art facilities in Baltimore’s Belvedere Square and at Loyola’s Graduate Center-Columbia Campus, and provides literacy programs at the Loyola/Notre Dame Library. A year ago, the Centers’ interdisciplinary model began to incorporate pastoral counseling, which integrates professional psychotherapy and counseling with a spiritual dimension. The Clinical Centers has established thriving partnerships with area educational systems, senior living facilities, and other organizations. In addition, after realizing that many of the goals associated with a strategic plan designed to guide operations through 2012 had already been achieved, Clinical Centers’ leaders have begun work on a new strategic plan.
