Loyola University Maryland welcomes Harvey Hubbell, producer of the upcoming documentary film Dislecksia: The Movie, on Wednesday, Oct. 13 to present “Overcoming the Struggle to Read: Navigating the Challenges of Dyslexia with Confidence.”

The event begins at 7 p.m. in McGuire Hall on Loyola’s North Charles Street campus.

Hubbell’s presentation includes a panel of individuals with dyslexia who have gone on to great success in business, politics, and entertainment; clips from his film; and a discussion on the challenges of learning to read in today’s educational system.

Deborah Weiner, a reporter at Baltimore’s WBAL-TV, will serve as the event’s host.
